I personally think the addition of a character with different views not being demonised but rather being explored is very eye opening! However, Kat's attraction for her could make this somewhat shallow - does she simply feel passion born out of hate? I do think Kat is the character who experiences the most growth and even opening up a dialogue for an opinion and political view definitely shows this. Eva is definitely a spanner in the works and other characters (like Jane) not getting to know her on a deeper level before immediately rejecting her shows a level of immaturity and exposes the issue that fighting your own corner without considering the other side is very empty. I do hope they continue to use this character to bring more depth to the topics discussed.
